The Taishan Dragons, the top team in the China League Soccer (CSL) title race, continued their three-game winning streak on Sunday by defeating Guangzhou Evergrande FC 4-1 at the Baiyun Stadium.
The Dragons, who have been consistently playing well throughout the season, started off brightly with a goal from Zhang Jiaoyu just before halftime. However, it was Guangzhou that took the lead in the second half when they scored two goals in quick succession.
Zhang Jiaoyu's first goal came after only five minutes of play and he finished his performance with a superb header to give the Dragons a 2-0 lead. The crowd erupted into cheers as the fans celebrated the win for their team.
Guangzhou responded quickly in the third minute with another goal from Guo Yuzhong. However, it was not enough as the Dragons continued to dominate possession and create chances for their own goals.
In the fourth minute, Guo Yuzhong scored his second goal, this time from a corner kick. The crowd erupted again as they cheered for their team and watched the game unfold.
The Dragons were unable to find the back of the net until late in the game when they managed to score one last goal from Zhang Jiaoyu. However, it was too little, too late as Guangzhou Evergrande ended up scoring the final goal to secure the victory.
This win was the Dragons' third consecutive win in the CSL title race and it will be interesting to see how they perform in the upcoming matches against other teams in the league.
Overall, it is clear that the Dragons have shown their ability to compete with some of the best teams in the league and they will continue to push forward in their next matches.
