Paris Saint-Germain's Mbappe scores hat-tricks in Ligue 1 and wins 5-0, surpassing season goal tally of 25 goals.

On Saturday evening, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) midfielder Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick as his team defeated Nice 5-0 to extend their lead at the top of the French league table.

Mbappe, who is currently playing for PSG, has been one of the standout performers in the Ligue 1 this season, scoring 25 goals in just 26 games. However, on Saturday night, he surpassed that tally with a hat-trick as PSG ran riot against Nice.

The match was a clear statement of Mbappe's status as one of the best players in the world, as he scored three times in just over an hour of play. He opened the scoring in the first half with a powerful header from a corner, before adding another in the second half to complete his hat-trick.

It was a dominant performance from PSG, who were simply too good for Nice. They dominated possession and created numerous opportunities, while also showing excellent composure when it came to converting those chances into goals.

As well as Mbappe's hat-trick, PSG also had a number of other impressive performances throughout the match. They were helped by some excellent defending from their back four, which kept Nice at bay for much of the game.
